Marketing During Covid19
If you own a restaurant, a bar or a nail salon, chances are you won't even try to spend money on advertising and marketing during COVID19 restrictions; unless you obtain a loan or are able to tap into your savings for a while. For services, restaurants and retails that can operate online and/or on a curb-side pick-up mode, things will look better, business might be slower but you'll still have opportunities for sale.
It's what you have to focus on, if you want to survive as a small business during the pandemic. Advertise and focus your marketing on what you can offer to your clients during the pandemic. Keep talking about your special offers, loyalty programs and services. Always insert a disclaimer regarding the measures you're taking to make sure that clients and staff feel safe during operations, such as "our business follows CDC guidelines", things like that.
Your website should show, right on the landing page, that you're still open and operational. Post messages and videos on your website and on social media. Use Apps like Alignable to connect with more people and other businesses. Enter your events and offers into the digital calendar of local newspapers and local news platforms such as THE PATCH. Sometimes it's free.
